bloom baby classes northern ireland east
Hi, I’m Gillian & I’m very proud to own Bloom Northern Ireland East; the 2nd Bloom franchise in Northern Ireland.
I have been travelling around the world as cabin crew since 2010 & would always say I’d be pushing a trolley as my zimmer frame. But along came 2020 & the world shut down. The travel sector was hit hard & life as I knew it would never be the same.
During the crazy times associated with Covid, I had my lovely little boy in February 2021. After finding my feet with the new “mum life”, we ventured out and started going to Bloom in Bramhall, Stockport with Louisa & Holly in June 2021. I had tried several other mum & baby classes in my area, but from the moment I walked in that Bloom it was obvious that this was not your usual “mum and baby” class…
Bloom is super interactive, the classes are full of activities and I honestly really enjoyed participating as a parent. The Bloom songs are super catchy, almost too catchy, as I found myself always bursting into song & it wasn’t with the Top 40 either!
I send all the photos each week of “Theme Time” to our family Whatsapp group & they’re a hit, especially with Grandad who shares them with everyone in the office.
During 2021, the opportunity came up for us to move my homeland of Northern Ireland & one of the things on lists to look into was a social class for my son and I. I looked to see if Bloom was there to carry on our classes, however the only Bloom was on the other side of Northern Ireland… and that’s how Bloom Northern Ireland East was born!
I have loved bringing our son to the Bloom classes and feel so passionate that your family will feel the same.
I look forward to welcoming new families to our Bloom family to classes in the Ards, North Down & Dundonald areas.

supporting post natal wellbeing
As part of our continued effort to support parents and post natal wellbeing we have created the Rainbow Parachute Project.
When booking onto a Bloom Baby Class class you will be asked if you are able to round up your total basket to the nearest pound or add a little more if you are able to.
All money raised will go to post natal mental health charities across the UK, providing life saving telephone support and in person support groups where parents can share their experiences and get professional support from trained mental health specialists.
