bloom baby classes midlands ireland
Maria
Hi,
My name is Maria and I am the proud owner of Bloom Baby Classes Midlands Ireland. I’m originally from Tullamore but moved to Dublin for college in 2010 where I studied social care. I’ve worked with people with intellectual disabilities, people who are deafblind and also the elderly during my time in social care and I really enjoyed this. In 2015, I met my now husband when he was having a weekend in Dublin and I moved to Wigan to live with him a year later. I have been living in Wigan since then.
In 2021, we had a beautiful cheeky little boy called Tommy. I was introduced to Bloom Baby Classes by a friend of mine and started attending Bloom St Helens and Wigan when Tommy was 8 weeks old. I loved the classes from the start. Like a lot of first time mums, I worried a lot about bringing him out on my own in case he cried or I didn’t have something he needed, but attending Bloom classes increased my confidence so much. Bloom was an environment that I could bring my baby to without worrying about being judged if he cried. The classes helped me to bond with him and meet other mums. I also couldn’t believe how much he engaged and enjoyed the sessions. At 14 months old, he’s currently in his last term at Bloom and we’re both going to miss his classes so much.
I started my journey working with Bloom in March 2022. I was due to go back to my job as a GP receptionist in July and the dread had already set in about not having enough time to spend with Tommy when a teaching job became available for Bloom St Helens and Wigan. Luckily I managed to get the job and have had seven amazing months working with fantastic parents and babies.
In June, during a trip to Tullamore to visit my family, I realised that parents in the midlands have very little choice available for baby classes and I decided that I wanted to bring Bloom to Midlands Ireland. After a lot of careful planning and discussion, it was decided that we would move our little family to Ireland. I am so excited to be back home and for Tommy to grow up around his grandparents farm with all the fresh air and animals. I can’t wait to meet the parents and babies of the midlands and introduce you all to the magic of Bloom

supporting post natal wellbeing
As part of our continued effort to support parents and post natal wellbeing we have created the Rainbow Parachute Project.
When booking onto a Bloom Baby Class class you will be asked if you are able to round up your total basket to the nearest pound or add a little more if you are able to.
All money raised will go to post natal mental health charities across the UK, providing life saving telephone support and in person support groups where parents can share their experiences and get professional support from trained mental health specialists.
What Our customers say
We’ve just done our 3rd session and Archie has loved each one. He’s so content throughout each class and naps really well after! I really enjoy being there too. 😊
Rosie Wilcox
A great musical and sensory experience! A different theme each week means there are always different props and variety. Our little one goes every week with his Grandma and always sleeps soundly after a class 🙂
